The Establishing and Maintaining Healthy Boundaries list found on this website is in no way exhaustive of the many ways teachers can ensure a safe and healthy classroom experience for themselves and their students. Do you agree or disagree with the guidelines on the list? What other suggestions or ideas do you have for healthy boundaries? Any general comments or opinions are welcome as well.

I think it's great to try to connect with your students in a way that feels personal to them without crossing the line. In my experience, it seems like students are more likely to work hard for you if they know you care about who they are. Even though getting to know your students can take time, the payoff is huge!
